From the results conducted by The American School of Classical Studies at Athens, this volume covers the Roman ceramic material from the sanctuary. The author has been concerned with it primarily as an archeological tool, to be used as evidence in the discussions of the stratigraphy and history of the sanctuary and of the cult practices. The author has directed her attention towards identifying the material and its sources, to establishing its chronology and the chronology of its contexts, and to determining, as far as possible, its function. The scope of this study was broadened to include not only the Roman pottery but also the Roman lamps from the sanctuary
