Rhodian Painted Siren, ca. 610 B.C. Probably from Rhodes, this figure has finely painted details which show distinctively, its facial features including, beard, wings, and feathers. The piece has a fine creme color patina with much of the original brown paint covering it. The left leg and rear are missing. Ex Harlan J. Berk, Ltd. 75th Buy or Bid Sale, 1993, lot 565.
