Magna Graecia Terracotta Votive Kore, ca. late 6th cent. B.C. A rare representation of a Kore (young maiden) who stands in a nitch. She wears a peplos and is crowned with a polos. The figure well rendered with recognizable facial features. A firing crack below the face and the tip of her nose is missing. Reddish-orange colored terracotta. Mounted on a custom black stand. H. 8 1/4".
